About Steel City
Steel City Smoke & Vape opened downtown in 2014 with a simple complaint behind it: most shops in Birmingham stocked whatever distributors pushed that month, and nobody on the floor could tell you why. We wanted a shop that stocked less and knew more.
That still runs the place today. Every e-liquid on our wall has been tasted by staff before it goes up. Every mod on the case has been rebuilt by someone who works here. Our glass case leans on Southeast blowers we know by name, not a drop-shipped catalog. It is slower to build a shop this way. It is also the only way we know how to run one honestly.
